Teaching

Isaac is the visiting lecturer of classical guitar at Cornell University in addition to teaching private lessons in the Ithaca area. Isaac has a great deal of teaching experience in a wide variety of playing styles including classical, rock/pop/electric, folk/acoustic/fingerstyle, and jazz.  Isaac has also taught classes on music theory, ear training, and song writing.

Ukulele lessons also available.

All ages (6 to adult) and skill levels are welcome; whether you just got a guitar for the holidays and have no clue where to start, or if you’re a seasoned musician looking to broaden your musical horizons and work on you fretboard knowledge and music theory, Isaac can tailor lessons to meet your specific goals.

Depending on scheduling and availability, Isaac can provide lessons in his home-studio or travel to your home.

Rates:

Individual Lessons: $45/hour, $35/45-min, $25/half-hour

If you want to learn guitar with your friends or family, Isaac can also teach group lessons. Individual rates apply for the first student,  $15 per additional student (up to 4).  Students should be at or near the same skill level for maximum benefit and enjoyment for all participants.
